Weather hazards : Conditions can get quite strong quite quickly : don't wait too much before going to landing unless you can find some thermals turbulences at landing.
Flight regulation : Warn the army the day before you plan to fly, and half an hour before you takeoff.
Meeting and asking locals is the best idea you can have before going to fly.
