GPS coordinates : take off : 35°53'7" (35.8854)N; 71°45'59" (71.7666)E - Elevation : 2583 m.
Take off : 2500 meters. Many areas on top of the ridge are suitable. Takeoff to North in morning and South for soaring in Evening.
Landing : Valley floor 1500meters. Landing above Hindukush Heights Hotel possible, fields below are easier. Airport is possible to land near (check in advance for flights) field on North side of runway is good for groundhandling (ask permission). Also fields near town and cricket ground next to Mosque or polo ground are options.
Going there : Road up to launch is driveable by car. Cost 800 to 1000 rupees (1hour)
Comments : Undeveloped site. Suitable for early morning top to bottoms. Miday conditions are for experienced pilots. XC potential is relatively unexplored.
Weather hazards : Big mountains, strong condtions.
Flight regulation : Contact Siraj about current airspace situation.
Flights are Usually 8am to 11am
