 General information
GPS coordinates : take off : 47°49'30" (47.825)N; 6°50'33" (6.8427)E - Elevation : 1237 m.
landing : 47°50'34" (47.843)N; 6°51'33" (6.8592)E - Elevation : 614 m.
Take off : 3 Take Off:
The North West one (Presle) is located at the top, follow the small path at the top (located after the statue).
To get to the Nort-Est take off, just continue walking on the path for 300 meters.
For the Est take off, continue to drive for 800 meters after the top of the Ballon d'Alsace, the take off is on your left in the field.
Landing : Easy landing on top.
NW and NE take off are very large and easy.

The NE can be seen from the takeoff. Wind direction can change withhin seconds, recheck right before landing. Beware of the cables along the street, yet they are isolated due to bad experience...
This field is hard to find by car, as it is located behind a sawmill.

The E landing zone is the landing zone called SEVEN between the 2 lakes.
Going there : In Saint Maurice sur Moselle, follow the signs who lead you to the summit (so called Ballon d'alsace).

There is some take-off-place infrastructure with restaurants, hotel, public WC and imbiss/souvenirs.
Weather hazards : Max altitude during week-ends : 3425meters, during the week : 1890m or 2450m.

On NE takeoff, beware of fast loss of altitude, whenever a thermal on the other side of the valley bursts.
