General information

GPS coordinates :	take off : 13°53'30" (13.8919)N; 89°46'38" (89.7773)W - Elevation : 1637 m. landing : 13°53'39" (13.8942)N; 89°46'14" (89.7706)W - Elevation : 1510 m.
Take off :	Access by vehicle, by foot, or by horse. 20 minute hike from El Portezuelo.
Landing :	Most immediate landing at the heart of El Portezuelo Park, at 1515 mts, but there is another open big field at 1100 mts. much better.
Going there :	Take the old road to Ahuachapan from Juayua, in Ruta de Las Flores, Sonsonate. El Portezuelo is 7 kms away from Juayua. Any vehicle can get there, good road.
Comments :	There are not as much flyable days in the year as coastal sites, but it is worth it to check it out. High mountain area with more challenging winds and weather then the coastal sites.
Weather hazards :	High mountain, winds and weather are different then your valleys.

Tourism :	El Portezuelo Park offers different eco adventures and lodging options. It is a great place to visit even if you dont get to fly, offering astonishing natureand breathtaking views. Also Ruta de Las Flores offers many cultural encounters.
