GPS coordinates : take off : 41°45'25" (41.7572)N; 44°55'10" (44.9195)E - Elevation : 1036 m.
landing : 41°45'0" (41.7501)N; 44°55'18" (44.9219)E - Elevation : 887 m.
Take off : This is a good beginner's hill, but also fun for an afternoon. Relatively easy, but lots of stones, and sometimes the wind comes at an angle.
Landing : very easy, broad field
Going there : Requires 4x4, and you have to find the right turn off from the road towards the airport. Ask local pilots. About 30 minutes from the center of Tbilisi
Comments : A fun site, if the wind comes from the right direction. No real cross country from here yet, and sometimes we are just talking about small hops. On a good day, longer soaring is possible.
Weather hazards : This is a benign site.
Flight regulation : None that are relevant.
