Take off :
take off Area is above tea plantation area, it has beautiful view, this take off area we called it Bukit Gantole or Hang gliding Hills in english.
Landing :
Landing area is about 1 km from take off area, this landing area still located at tea plantation area.
Going there :
Puncak Highlands, a mountainous area just south-west of Jakarta, just driving 1-2 hours south the main highway in direction to Bogor. Or you can take public transportation.
Comments :
An area on the slopes of Gunung Mas is currently the most popular. Views over the stunningly beautiful rural country side of Java
Weather hazards :
problems with wind and rainy weather during the northeast monsoon (November-February.)
A short ridge and wind speeds of 8-25 km/hr provide good lift. You launch from a prepared ramp, climb to about 300m, then pick up lift from a higher hill behind. The best flight path is to the south, towards Mounts Pangrango and Salak. Bogor City is visible in the distance.

Tourism  :
Puncak Pass is one of interesting destination in the West Java Province. It is located in the south of Jakarta and can be reached by an hour journey. Puncak is an ideal place for weekend, as well as a good location to find a fresh mountain air. Besides, many attractions can be found nearby, such as the Bogor and Cibodas Botanical Gardens; the Gede Pangrango National Park; tea Plantations and the Safari Park.
