 General information
GPS coordinates : take off : 46°29'48" (46.4969)N; 11°45'6" (11.7519)E - Elevation : 2391 m.
landing : 46°28'33" (46.476)N; 11°44'58" (11.7497)E - Elevation : 1416 m.
Take off : 2 main take off places available: North-East to South-East exposure: near the 'rifugio des Alpes', just 100 mt. out of the cable-car;
South to West exposure: follow the way that goes under the cable-car lines reaching the place in a 10 mins walk.
If you come from the road at the sella pass, park your car before the gate and walk 30mn. Or take the shuttle (12EUR).
Landing : near the start of cable-car 'Col Rodella', campitello village, very huge. Beware the power lines running aside the landing place
Going there : from Trento take the highway to Ora. Then follow the est road, cross Cavalese, Predazzo and Moena villages.
From north (Deutschland) take the road which cross Ortisei village, with the Val Gardena valley and take the 'Passo Sella' pass.
Comments : when the cable car isn't working (after 5th october in 2008) you can take shuttle: 12EUR with 4X4, hang-glider possible.

>> with moderate North winds the area becomes very rough. Expect VERY strong conditions 1100-1600 from April to end of August.
Normally after 1200 the N-wind from Val Gardena becomes too strong to permit safe TO's on the NE-SE TO: descend to the SW TO!
