 General information
GPS coordinates : take off : 41°20'35" (41.3432)N; 21°15'24" (21.2569)E - Elevation : 1411 m.
landing : 41°20'54" (41.3485)N; 21°18'19" (21.3055)E - Elevation : 625 m.
Take off : 4km from the town of Krusevo, 1470m asl, Large take off area right by the road-side. Easy acces, grassy, no problem!
Landing : huge flatlands, anywhere, need a driver to pick up, public transport slow and scarse and not to the lauch. dont land in planted fields, dont destroy crops. with dedicated driver, 5 and more flight a day, easy! record is 11 take offs in one day!
Going there : airport in Skopje, the capital, than 1.5 hours drive to Krusevo, taxi is pricey! get in touch with local pilots, all friendly, on weekends someone always going to krushevo. you have to have transport organized before hand!
Comments : best XC potentials - whole summer, flyable from morning to night. cloud base from 2500 to 4000m asl, flyable from march to the first snow, all abilities, no fees, no hassle, fly and bother no one! landing wherever you feel like, cheap accomodation, no rent cars available (or if any, pricey), friendly, if foreigner get in touch with local macedonian pilots www.vertigo.org.mk
Weather hazards : Strong North winds tend to make lotsa tourbulent air, if winds too strong, get to the waley, there is a huge hill called Ribnik, perfect for soaring in ALL directions. Great Fun!

Tourism  : krushevo is a historic place, the highest municipality in the Balkan region (1200m asl), cute town. Bitola (XC flight 40km) helenic period, lotsa archeology, Ohrid (see ohrid under flying site) big lake, perfect summer paragliding holliday, cheap, nice, have fun!
